Heather Jordan

Heather Jordan is the Director of LGC Proficiency Testing Operations for North American. Heather, a graduate of Northwestern University, spent ten years in logistical compliance for the pharmaceutical and airline industries before joining the American Proficiency Institute in 2010.

She served as Director of the Food Proficiency Testing program until API Food Quality was purchased by LGC in 2017. After coordinating the merging of the two programs, she now oversees LGC PT programs in North America. Heather has presented on the topic of proficiency testing at IAFP, the Food Microbiology Symposium, and, most recently, at trainings in China.

She has also co-authored posters on various aspects of proficiency testing presented at AOAC, ASM, Eurachem, and IAFP, as well as an article published in International Food Hygiene.
